Terry Morrow

Terry Morrow is a dynamic nonprofit executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in philanthropy, healthcare, and mission-driven systems. With a career fundraising total exceeding $296 million, Terry is known for building high-performing development operations, strengthening board governance, and leading organizations through complex strategic transformations. A visionary and culture-driven leader, he has consistently mobilized and developed teams to drive outcomes that align with mission, equity, and long-term sustainability.

Most recently, Terry served as President of the Bronson Health Foundation and Vice President of Development for Bronson Healthcare, a $1.6 billion nonprofit health system in Michigan. He led a system-wide philanthropic strategy that tripled foundation assets, increased annual fundraising more than twentyfold, and launched new leadership and engagement programs that elevated community voice and nurtured future advocates and trustees. Terry also played a central role in influencing community relationships and public affairs on behalf of the health system, helping guide how the organization engaged with external partners and responded to emerging opportunities.

Earlier in his career, Terry held leadership roles with international nonprofits and philanthropic consulting firms, including CCS Fundraising, Association Development Solutions, and the Congregation of Holy Cross. In these roles, he led national campaigns, cultivated major gifts, advised boards, and developed tools to improve equity in giving. His work has consistently centered on aligning board governance, philanthropic strategy, and organizational vision to produce durable impact.

A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Terry earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science in Management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University. Interested in the intersection of psychology, economics, and behavior in philanthropic decision-making, he also completed executive education in behavioral economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Terry is a graduate of the Advisory Board Fellowship—a leadership development program for senior executives focused on strategic foresight, healthcare innovation, and governance. He currently serves on the boards of Communities In Schools of Kalamazoo and Family & Children Services, two organizations deeply connected to his personal values around equity, resilience, and early intervention.
